LENBEL hybrid produced from 100% purebred broodstock parents, with Siberian sturgeon as the female and Beluga as the male. A strong, fast-growing hybrid sturgeon with classic prehistoric character, graceful movement, and bottom-oriented behavior.
Origin: Produced from 100% purebred broodstock parents; (Acipenser baerii) × male Beluga (Huso huso).
Diet: Carnivorous bottom-feeder; does best on quality sinking sturgeon pellets, worms, insect larvae, crustaceans, and other protein-rich foods.
Adult Size: LENBEL is generally on the larger-growing side, with culture reports showing about an average of 9 kg by year 5, with maximum reported values around 15 kg under farming conditions.
Recommended Tank Size: Best suited for a large, deep, cool, well-oxygenated pond or recirculating system.
Compatibility: Peaceful with other coldwater, non-aggressive pond fish and other sturgeon in properly sized systems; avoid aggressive fish, warm-water species, and fish small enough to be swallowed.
